Group portrait of men who had served in the First World War gathering for Anzac Day in Hobart. Identified, left to right, front row, are: Sidney Hicks; 1914 Corporal (Cpl) Sydney Oscar Everett, 1st Mechanical Transport Company; 247 Diver (Dvr) Harry Jerram, 8th Battalion. An electrician prior to enlisting on 17 September 1914, Cpl Everett embarked for overseas service aboard HMAT Ceramic (A40) on 22 December 1914. Cpl Everett returned to Australia on 23 October 1918. A mechanical engineer prior to enlisting on 19 August 1914, Dvr Jerram embarked for overseas service aboard HMAT Benalla (A24) on 19 October 1914. He returned to Australia on 4 November 1918. Sidney Hicks cannot be further identified.
