Informal group portrait of Victorian men who had served in the First World War gathering for Anzac Day. A contingent of around 465 Victorian returned servicemen participated in Anzac day events in Hobart, organised by the Gallipoli Legion of Anzacs. The commemoration included a reenactment of the story of Simpson and his donkey.
