Studio portrait of 136 Private (later Sergeant (Sgt)) George Philip Slatter, 11th Company Australian Machine Gun Corps. Sgt Slatter of Maroon, Queensland enlisted on 10 February 1916 and died of wounds in France on 29 January 1918, aged 24 years.
