Studio portrait of 2888A Private (Pte) Charles Frederick Worrad. Pte Worrad embarked with the 5th Reinforcement, 34th Battalion from Sydney aboard HMAT Beltana (A72) on 25 November 1916, and later joined the 4th Battalion on 11 June 1917. He was wounded in action on 4 October 1917 by a gun shot wound to his left eye. Pte Worrad was killed in action in France on 18 April 1918. He was 25 years old.
