Studio portrait of 404843 Sergeant (Sgt) Alan Barton Watson, 253 Squadron, RAAF, of Goondiwindi, Queensland. Sgt Watson enlisted on the 6 December, 1940 at Brisbane Queensland. He was killed in a flying accident in the United Kingdom on 25 February 1942 aged 21, and is buried at Kirton-in-Lindsey Cemetery, Lincolnshire.
