Studio portrait of QX27374 Private (Pte) Kevin Sylvester Jones, 2/7 Infantry Battalion. A labourer from Dalby, Queensland prior to enlistment, Pte Jones was killed in action in Papua New Guinea (PNG) on 24 April 1943, aged 20, and was buried in the Salamaua War Cemetery PNG. His remains were later re-interred in the Lae War Cemetery, PNG.
