Description
Replica Long Tan cross, erected on the site of a rubber plantation and the Battle of Long Tan. The original cross was flown in by helicopter and installed on 18 August 1969 by members of 6th Battalion Royal Australian Regiment/New Zealand in a ceremony to commemorate members of D Company and 3 Troop 1st Armoured Personnel Carrier Squadron who lost their lives. Joss sticks are burning in the foreground in memory of the soldiers who were killed.
