Studio portrait of 402318 Pilot Officer (PO) James (Jim) George Cowan-Hunt. PO Cowan-Hunt, from Sydney, was a member of 459 Squadron RAAF and was promoted to Flying Officer (FO) on 10 December 1941. FO Cowan-Hunt was killed during operations in the Middle East on 30 June 1942. He was 25 years old.
