Studio portrait of 14694 Gunner (Gnr) Selby Manderson Hastings, 14th Field Artillery Brigade. Gnr Hastings enlisted in Melbourne on 5 January 1916 and embarked on 4 May 1916 to join the artillery training school in Tel el Kebir. He was killed in action on 8 June 1917 in France.
