Informal portrait of a Fox Movietone News cameraman, probably Eric W Bierre, with his movie camera on a tripod and a roll of film hanging from his neck. Fox Movietone were filming a training exercise for the newsreel "Armour of the Infantry". This image is from the collection of SX3202 Lieutenant Colonel Rowland Austin Perkins who served with the 2nd Australian Tank Battalion during the Second World War. See F00379 for the film "Armour of the Infantry".
