Description
Photostat copy of diary relating to the First World War service of Lieutenant Wilfred Emmott Addison, 18th Battalion. The original diary, in the form of a letter and sent to his mother, was written by Wilfred Addison between 24 June and 13 August 1915. In the diary, Addison describes his life aboard the SS Ceramic and his duties at the military hospital in Cairo. The copies were made by the Australian War Memorial in 1928.
