A group of scouts examine their clothes for fleas in the Ploegsteert (Plug Street) Wood, Belgium, the Western Front. 1010 Sergeant George Edgar Watkins describes the occasion as "a silent raid" as "the scouts (examine) their shirts and (wait) for the enemy to appear."
