An unidentified German soldier standing in front of destroyed buildings in Warsaw, Poland. This photograph, along with other personal belongings, was taken from a dead German officer by NX36330 Private (Pte) John Thomas Currie, 2/13 Battalion. Pte Currie sent the German officer's belongings back to Australia from Tobruk, Libya.
