Description
Identification portrait of 413063 Leading Aircraftman (LAC) Kenneth George Wolkenhaar, of Lockhart, NSW. A bank clerk prior to enlisting on 15 August 1941, he completed his initial training and progressed to the Advanced Training Course for pilots at No. 7 Service Flying Training School (7SFTS), RAAF Station Deniliquin, Australia. On 21 December 1943, while attached to the No 2 Operational Training Unit, Flight Sergeant (Flt Sgt) Wolkenhaar was killed in an accident near Lake Victoria, NSW, Australia. He is buried in the Mildura Public Cemetery, Mildura, Victoria, Australia. Flt Sgt Wolkenhaar was 23 years of age.
