Description
Identification portrait of 413350 Leading Aircraftman Jack Conley from Lane Cove, NSW. Aged 20 years old on enlistment in the RAAF on 17 August 1941, he reached the rank of Flying Officer (FO). While serving in the United Kingdom he was awarded a Distinguished Flying Cross (DFC) for skill and fortitude in operations against the enemy. FO Conley’s appointment was terminated on 18 September 1945.
