Description
Studio portrait of 413348 Aircraftman 2 (AC2) Vincent Collins, of Stockton, NSW. A railway employee with the NSW railways prior to enlisting on 17 August 1941, he completed his initial training at Bradfield Park, NSW and was later attached to the RAF. Flight Sergeant (Flt Sgt) Collins, a member of No. 150 Squadro RAF, was killed on operations over Italy on 29 November 1943. He was 23 years of age. Flt Sgt Collins is buried in the Beach Head War Cemetery, Anzio, Lazio, Italy.
