Description
Identification portrait of 413390 Aircraftman 2 (A.C.2.) Thomas Leslie Hobson Kay, of Redhead via Newcastle, NSW. A modern languages and history master prior to enlisting on 17 August 1941, he completed his initial training at Bradfield Park, NSW and was later attached to the RAF. Flight Sergeant (Flt Sgt) Kay, a member of No. 103 Squadron RAF, was killed in a flying accident in the United Kingdom on 16 December 1943. He was 28 years of age. Flt Sgt Kay is buried in the Cambridge City Cemetery, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, United Kingdom.
