Description
Anzac Club, Singapore. Opened in mid 1941 it was a recreational club for Australian servicemen in Singapore prior to the Japanese invasion. It was built on the site of the former Bras Basah Gaol off Waterloo Street. The large white dome in the background is that of the historic Raffles Library and Museum, now the National Museum of Singapore. This area is from the early 2000's the grounds of the Singapore Management University (SMU).
