Collection relating to the Second World War service of VX61203 Private Fred Hutchins, 2/21 Battalion. Collection consists of a letter dated 2 January 1942, written by Fred to his brother Malcolm (whom he called Mike), discussing people from home and his recent posting abroad (most likely Ambon).
