Studio portrait of Major (Maj) Robert Garrick Wilson, Australian Imperial Force Canteens. A Major in the military prior to enlisting on 16 December 1915, Maj Wilson was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) at the time of enlistment. Lt Col Wilson died of illness in Egypt on 9 February 1916. He was 52 years old.
