Original gravestones including that of 1606 Private (Pte) Oscar Lawson, 18th Battalion. A carpenter from Longford Tasmania, Pte Lawson enlisted on 24 April 1915 and embarked aboard HMAT Themistocles (A32) on 12 May 1915. He was wounded on the 17 September and died on 18 September 1915.
