Portrait of 8003 Gunlayer Reginald Albert Sharp, of HMAS Sydney, who died of wounds received in the Sydney's action against the German raider Emden at Cocos Island on 9 November 1914. Gunlayer Sharp (R.N.239494) was on loan from the Royal Navy.
