Portrait of nurses sightseeing in Egypt, four on camels and four on donkeys in front of the Sphinx. Amongst this group, exact position unknown, is Sister Edith Blake of San Souci, NSW, who served with the Queen Alexandra's Imperial Military Nursing Service and was killed when the hospital ship she was on, the HMHS Glenart Castle, was sunk by a German U-boat on 26 February 1918.
