"Father's operating tent Mudros." (Original inscription). [Captain Fiaschi's father was Colonel Thomas Henry Fiaschi who commanded the 3rd Australian General Hospital at Mudros on the island of Lemnos, 96 kilometres from Anzac Cove, Gallipoli.]
From a collection relating to the service of Captain Piero Fiaschi, Australian Army Medical Corps, (later Lieutenant-Colonel, OBE), serving with the 1st Light Horse Field Ambulance in Egypt and as Regimental Medical Officer with the 3rd Light Horse Regiment at Gallipoli.
