Group portrait of airmen in front of an Avro Lancaster Aircraft. Identified, back row, second from left, is 419328 Flying Officer (FO) Patrick Leo McCartin. FO McCartin enlisted in July 1942 and, after graduating from an advanced flying school in Canada, flew on numerous operations over occupied Europe with 75 Squadron RAF. He was listed as missing, later confirmed killed, on an operation over Germany on 20 November 1944.
