Original inscription reads "Just to remind you of Mabs Lake/ One of the 'Uzzies'/ Pier Pavilion/ Weston Super Mare/ 1918. Part of a collection relating to the service of 6408 Private (Pte) Ernest Alfred (Nick) Nicholls, 8th Battalion, who was one of a concert party known as "The Aussies".
