Meiji Type 26 Revolver
Description
Meiji Type 26 double action six shot 9 mm revolver. Break open hinged action with a top locking clip and a block type hammer without a spur. The right side has the Koishigawa factory mark over five Japanese characters, indicating the model type, and the serial number. The grip is chequered wood and there is a lanyard ring on the butt that has a short piece of white rope attached. Overall surface rust under the solidified preservative coating.
