Unexploded Bomb sign : Air Raid Precautions (ARP) Sydney
Description
Rectangular tin sign with protective green coating on reverse. Painted white on front with wording in red paint 'UNEXPLODED / BOMB / NO ENTRY'. Two screw holes have been drilled though the top border of the sign, which has been bent over.
History / Summary
Sign typical of the those used by State Emergency Services responsible for Air Raid Precautions during the Second World War. This sign was donated in 1946 by the ARP Headquarters in Sydney.
