Description
Type 89 Twin Aircraft Machine Guns on a dual mount. The twin air cooled barrels have fluted alloy jackets for half their length. It has twin pistol grips and two rear buffer pads that are missing the leather covers. The receiver tops are left and right feed and there are two cocking levers. The receiver on the left gun is stamped 14.2 (1939 February) and the right gun 14.3 (1939 March) above the serial numbers and the Kokura Arsenal mark. The guns are fitted to a tubular cradle with a central pivot mount. No sights are fitted to the central rib on the cradle.
