Type 92 Lewis Aircraft Machine Gun
Description
Type 92 (Lewis) aircraft machine gun. The air cooled barrel does not have the tubular steel jacket and aluminium cooling fins. The receiver has a wooden pistol grip trigger assembly and there is a leather covered spade grip at the rear. A single post mount is attached the base of the receiver and there is an improvised grip made from asbestos and canvas around the barrel. There are no sights but it is fitted with a 96 round ammunition drum.
