Description

Japanese forge blower for blacksmith's forge. This blower is built into the box and provision is made for handle to fit outside and be turned. A short length of pipe screws to the exhaust to which is screwed the tuyere iron, which is in the fire.

History / Summary

Recovered from Rabaul by 5 Military history team. Used by a Japanese blacksmith for heating metal to the temperature where it could be manipulated and forged.
