Description
NSDAP Members Badge. Obverse: A black swastika on a white field with the inscription 'NATIONAL-SOZIALISTISCHE-D.A.P.' (National Socialist German Workers Party) on a red painted outer circle. Reverse: Stamped 'RZM' and 'M1/120' with a small horizontal brooch pin.
History / Summary
Worn as a lapel badge by members of the NSDAP (National Socialist German Workers Party). This medal is part of a collection of Second World War German orders, decorations, badges and insignia acquired by Flight Lieutenant K G Hesketh, RAAF Historical Records Section, who was based in London, but who made a number of visits to Germany immediately after the Second World War.
