Type 92 Panoramic artillery Sight
Description
Panoramic 3 power sight for artillery weapons. Markings: Impressed into dial plate "1488A", left side of upper prism holder "3 x 13 degrees/NIKKO/ No.21028/ JES (screw in Japanese) The sight incorprorates a levelling bubble and cross levelling bubble. This sight mounted onto a range drum, (missing) by means of a horizontal dovetail. A rotating thumb lever secured in in place. The diopter scale and azimuth scale are in bright finish. The sight body is finished in dark green/black.
History / Summary
This sight could be used on the 70mm Type 92 howitzer and on the 75mm Type 41 field gun.
