Miniature three quarter pint ladle : Changi Prisoner of War camp
Description
Miniature example of a three quarter pint ladle made from green painted steel taken from an old filing cabinet. Ladle has straight sides and a flat bottom. Lead solder has been used to attach the handle.
History / Summary
Miniature example of a three quarter pint ladle made in Changi. Full sized ladles were made to ensure the accurate ditribution of food rations. A total of 736 full sized ladles were manufactured.
