German Third Reich Army Officer's Sword and Scabbard
Description
German Third Reich Army Officer's dress sword and scabbard. The hilt is a nickel plated single bar stirrup type with langets over the ricasso and backstrap with ears pinned to the black fishskin wire bound grip. The blade has a single edge to a spear point with a single fuller to each side and has a number of nicks to the cutting edge near the point. The ricasso is marked with a knights head and a kings head over WKC. The nickel plated steel scabbard has a single fixed ring on a band with a fixed square ring 80 mm from the throat.
