Description
Type 100 Twin Barrel Aircraft Machine Gun. Air cooled barrels with piston tubes underneath. It has two wooden pistol grips with independent triggers. A canvas strap fits on a frame between the pistol grips to serve as a recoil breast pad. The frame is stamped with the Nagoya Army Ordnance Arsenal mark, 18.9 (September 1943) and 1946 is painted in white on the rear of the receiver. The safety catch is a simple toggle with a knurled handle. The weapon is complete with a pillar foresight and a ring backsight but does not have a saddle drum magazine.
