Description

A short barrelled rifled howitzer mounted on a light aluminum alloy wheeled carriage. A funneled Venturi tube is attached to the rear of the bored breechblock. This tube allows the propulsion gases to vent to the rear, thus eliminating recoil. The weight of the gun is reduced to a minimum by using hollow machined parts, plastic washers, tubular carriage, and aluminum alloy body. Weapon is painted field grey/green.

Developed to give German parachutists a light, air dropped weapon capable of engaging and destroying Allied tanks and fortifications.
