Mosin Nagant M1891/ 30PU Sniper Rifle
Description
Mosin Nagant M1891/30 Sniper Rifle. Bolt action receiver marked with a State Arsenal mark, 1944 and the serial number on the barrel. The bolt has been welded to the action. There is a bracket on the left side for a 3.5 power PU telescopic sight (missing). It has a one piece wooden stock that has a finger groove on each side of the fore arm and slots for leather sling straps. Fitted with a canvas sling.
History / Summary
This Mosin Nagant sniper rifle was taken from a Viet Cong who was killed in the Ho Bo Wood area January 1966.
