ANZAC Day-Simpson and his Donkey
Description
An illustration of Simpson guiding the donkey carrying a wounded soldier expressing surprise as they encounter a chronological history of artillery used by Australians in conflict. From left to right, coming over the crest of a hill, we see soldiers bearing rifles with bayonets, stylised Mark II tanks which were both used in the First Word War, followed by various grouping of artillery, Surface to Air Missiles (SAM), the CH-47 Chinook helicopter and then guided missiles.
