Description
Small printed flag of the Philippines Republic with two pairs of string ties on the hoist. Horizontally divided red over blue flag has a white triangle on the hoist printed in yellow with three stars and an eight pointed central motif.

Associated with the service of Australian born Lieutnenant H (Hal) Shirley who served with a USAAF Air Corps Maintenance and Supply unit during the Second World War. He was posted to the Philippines in late 1944.
