Embroidered and appliqued silk. Colours of the Papua New Guinea Volunteer Rifles. The Colours bear the Battle Honours Rabaul, Wau, South-West Pacific 1942-1943.

History / Summary

The Colours were originally presented to the Battalion by His Honour, Colonel D O Hay, CBE, DSC, Administrator of Papua and New Guinea. They were laid up at the War Memorial Following the Disbandment of the Battalion on ANZAC Day 1974.
