Group portrait of medical staff who sailed with the First Expeditionary Force onboard HMAT Omrah (A5) on 24 September 1914. Identified in the back row from left to right: Captain D Conrick; Sister Constance Mabel (Connie) Keys (later awarded Royal Red Cross and French Medaille Des Epidemies, Gold); and Captain Arthur Graham Butler (Regimental Medical Officer) (later a Colonel and the only Australian medical officer to be awarded a Distinguished Service Order for his aide work at Gallipoli). In the front row from left to right: Sister Eunice Muriel Harriett Paten (later awarded Royal Red Cross and served as Principal Matron, Northern Command during Second World War); Sister Bertha Mary Williams (seated) (later awarded Royal Red Cross); and Sister J M Hart.
