Trophy : 5th Australian Division, Anzac Day Sports, 1918
Description
Silver cup with curved handles on either side. The front of the cup is engraved 'ANZAC DAY SPORTS 5TH DIVISION NUC CHAMPIONSHIP WON BY 15TH BDE 25-4-18'. A small maker's mark is stamped above this and a French silver standard is stamped on the back.
History / Summary
This trophy was presented at the 5 Australian Division Nucleus Anzac Day Sports held on 25 April 1918. It was won by the competitors of the 15th Infantry Brigade.
