Squadron Leader Colin Milson
Description
Portrait of Wing Commander Colin G Milson, DSO and Bar, DFC and Bar, Commanding Officer, 455 Squadron RAAF, wearing a service dress cap, RAAF battle dress and flying jumper. During the Second World War Freedman enlisted in the RAAF and was appointed as a war artist attached to the RAAF Historical War Records Section where he worked from 1944 to 1945, in Borneo, Noemfoor and around Australia.
