HMT "Queen Mary", "Queen Elizabeth"
Description
HMT "Queen Mary" and HMT "Queen Elizabeth" transports at anchor together at Trincomalee. A call for oil and water during the trip from Australia to the Middle East. The escorting cruiser HMAS "Australia" extreme right is alongside the oiling berth also refuelling - while a Seagull amphibian and a land based aircraft constantly patrol. (The third ship of the convoy "Aquatania" is outside the boom defence of the harbour).
