Corporal William (old Bill) Green
Description
Portrait of Corporal William Lindsay 'Old Bill' Green (VX4357). Corporal Green provided service overseas in both wars; he was a Pack store Corporal, 2/2 Australian Field Ambulance. He saw action in the Middle East at Libya, as well as in Syria, Ceylon, Greece, and Crete. 'Old Bill's' reputed stamina and determination to keep up with the youngsters was characteristic of him.
