Showing the railway line and main road as seen from the south. The Germans broke through the position of the 1st Rangers (British) in the centre and began to attack 2/8th Australian Infantry Battalion in the rear, on right of the picture. The 2/4th Australian Infantry Battalion were in position on the left of picture, Greece.
