Resettlement of Slope 30
Description
Two Australian soldiers holding rifles watches over a group of Vietnamese adults, children and animals as they gather belongings to be resettled from Slope 30 in Phuoc Tuy Province. Formerly controlled by the Viet Cong, the area of Slope 30 was used as a market garden to supply the troops. Villages in the area were completely razed by the Australian Army, who then constructed new buildings and resettled the villagers at Ap Suoi Nghe.
