One of Selarang Square buildings
Description
Forming part of the pre-war British Army Barracks for the Singapore garrison. The barracks were used by the Japanese to house some of the prisoners-of-war captured at the fall of Singapore. The view in the picture is from the road to the AIF prisoners' Convalescent Depot. The buildings at Selarang area of Changi camp. This area housed the Australian POWs and was the scene of the Selarang Barracks incident.
