Working in the snow, Australian Forestry Unit, Scotland
Description
Depicts members of the 2nd Australian Imperial Force, Royal Australian Engineers, Forestry Units, moving felled logs in the snow. The artist inscribed on the work that this was the workers' "first snow". Also featured is one Honduran woodsman, British Honduras Forestry Unit, who were also deployed to Scotland to provide valuable resources for the war effort.
